We have been asked to inform everyone of a series of lectures that the NI Assembly has coming up to mark the centenaries in 2021. Everyone is welcome. We have posted the links to Eventbrite below for convenience.
The Speaker of the Northern Ireland Assembly, Alex Maskey MLA, will host a series of lectures to mark the centenaries in 2021 of the creation of Northern Ireland/ Partition and the first sitting of the old Northern Ireland Parliament.
“Perspectives on the Creation of Northern Ireland/ Partition”, a series of four virtual lectures, will be presented by Dr Éamon Phoenix, historian and broadcaster. Dr Éamon Phoenix will also be joined by Ann Donnelly of Northern Ireland Screen to bring the events to life with imagery and video from the time for lecture one and four.
